Privacy Policy

Couples who create a site. When you make an account we keep the email and name you give us, and the sites you publish. Site content can include partner names, the date and place, story text, schedule, photos, gift details, and the dinner menu you set for guests.

Guests who RSVP. A published invitation can collect a first name, last name, email, optional phone number, whether you will attend, party size, and a meal choice from the host’s menu. Demo sample sites do not save replies.

Notes sent to VOV. The contact form on this website, and the same form in the apps, can collect a name, email, optional wedding date, and a message. We mark whether the note came from the website, iOS, or Android.

Technical data. Hosting and the database run on Google Firebase. That service may receive an IP address, device type, and security logs needed to run the product. We do not run advertising pixels or a separate analytics suite on this site.

To show your invitation to the people you send the link to.

To give the couple a list of RSVPs and meal choices.

To answer notes you send us, and to operate, secure, and improve VOV.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use guest RSVPs to advertise to those guests.

Google Firebase stores accounts, site content, photos, RSVPs, and contact notes, on our behalf.

The couple who owns a wedding site can read the RSVPs for that site. VOV staff can read contact notes sent to us, and may access site data when we need to support or secure the product.

We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Account and site data stay until you delete the site or close the account, or until we must remove it for legal or security reasons.

RSVPs stay with the wedding site they belong to.

Contact notes stay until we have finished the conversation and no longer need a record of it.

Couples can edit or take down a published site from the app. Guests who want an RSVP changed should contact the couple; we can also help if you write to us with enough detail to find the reply.

You can ask us to correct or delete information we hold, or send a copy of it, using the contact form. We may need to verify that the request is yours.

VOV is meant for adults planning an event. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the date on this page. Continued use of VOV after a change means you accept the revised policy.
